Harry Potter Themed Wedding @ Ravenswood Mansion

Phew! Has it already been a year since Kristin and Ryne tied the knot? Yes it has! And since I’m shooting another wedding at Ravenswood Mansion again today, I felt it was appropriate to share all the goods from their wedding last year.

I know that they’ll be celebrating in a grand way, full of fun, style, and creativity. Just like their wedding.

Kristin and Ryne were married last year at the Ravenswood Mansion in Brentwood, Tennessee. And they’re wedding was one for the books- literally, Kristin dreamed up a whole Harry Potter themed wedding that was absolutely magical.

When I first talked to Kristin and she told me what she was planning, I couldn’t stop dreaming of how it would turn out- and I’m sure she couldn’t either. Kristin worked hard with her coordinator, Lindsay Stamps, to create a theme that blended the aesthetic of a whimsical garden with the magical touches that comes with being a wizard!

One of the biggest lessons I think we all learned last year when we had to all shutdown, was that being with family and friends, while living in the moment, is too important to miss out on. So it was a refreshing sight seeing all of Kristin and Ryne’s friends and family all together to celebrate their marriage, sharing their favorite moments of the couple, sharing cheers, and dancing their butts off until it was time to go home.

I only hope to have more weddings like Kristin and Ryne’s- filled with love, fun, style, and great people!
